In summer of 2016, Olly Hicks and I embarked upon a journey that took us from Greenland to Scotland in a sea kayak following in the Wake of the Finnmen.
We will covered 1,200 miles in 6 weeks, spending twelve nights out at sea paddling by the light of the midnight sun.
Our mission was to uncover the mystery of how an Innuit community came to be on a remote Scottish Island. Could the Inuit have really kayaked all the way from Greenland?
